The
fishery is located about 55 miles south east of London. The nearest large town
is Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Directions from Tunbridge Wells: (c. 7 miles)
From
the roundabout near The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, take the A267
towards Frant, Mark Cross and
Mayfield.
Continue
on this road until Mark Cross where you should turn right onto the B
2100 ( Catts Hill)
towards Crowborough.
Proceed
for about 1 mile and take the second road left which is Yew
Tree Lane (on the corner is Cuckoo Line Stores).
If you go under a railway bridge you have gone too far.
Go
up Yew Tree Lane for about ½ mile, past an oast roundel on the left.
As the road bends to the left, take the forked track on the right which
goes under a railway bridge and you will be in the
fishery car park..

from Mayfield: (c. 3 miles)
Take
the A267 towards Tunbridge Wells.
After the Mayfield bypass, ignore the turning on your left signposted
Rotherfield and Crowborough, proceed for another
c ½ mile or so and take the next road
on the left, which is Yew Tree Lane.
Go down the hill and on your left, on the corner, you will see a sign for the fishery and a track leading under a railway bridge.

from Crowborough: ( c 4 miles)
Take
the road to Rotherfield. In
Rotherfield, go past the church (on your right) and follow the road around to
the right. Take the first left , the B2100
(Station Road) towards Mark
Cross. A pub called The King’s
Arms is on the corner.
Proceed
down the hill, under the railway bridge, and around to the right. Take the first
right, which is Yew Tree Lane.
Go
up Yew Tree Lane for about ½ mile, past an oast roundel on the left. As the

railway bridge and you will be in the fishery
car park.
